Project Steering Group "Environmentally-sound Management of Stocks of Obsolete and Prohibited Pesticides in Russia"

Leading country: Finland

Timeline/Deliverables:  Efforts in several high priority regions include inventory, repackaging, safe storage, and in some cases, destruction of obsolete  and prohibited pesticides (OPs).  There are several projects currently underway at various stages.  Activities in Altai Krai remain a high concern due to the large  quantities of OPs and the close proximity to critical waterbodies.
